Now, the next small piece of information is very important, this will determine how many SIP Channels you require and ultimately your final monthly line cost.

A SIP Channel/Line can hold one inbound or one outbound at any one time, if you require more than one phone conversation in progress at the same time you will need more channels/lines.

Let’s say you are running a call centre and require 7 calls all in progress at the same time, you will need to have 7 SIP Channels/Lines in place.

This would mean your monthly line rental cost would be $174.65, although there are other costs involved, which we will run through now.

With each line you may want to have a unique number for it, this is called a DID Number, they are available at a very low cost indeed.

We have DID Numbers available for $1 per month, with a small $1 one time set up fee required per number.

So if you require 7 SIP Channels each with their own unique number it will costs you a total of $181.65 per month.

This is a very small price to pay considering the costs that would be involved to run 7 phones on standard land lines.
